Growing up in Ashburn, Virginia, Nikki always loved to bake, especially for other people, however, it took a twist of fate to convince her that baking was her true calling.  A former Content Manager for the Lifestyle sites at AOL, Nikki spent her days unhappily behind a computer.  She took 12 weeks of maternity leave when her daughter was born in November of 2010 and decided things had to change when she returned.  Well, they most certainly did!  Nikki was laid off in the Huffington Post - AOL merger and she took it as a sign that she needed to pursue her love of baking full time.  In May of 2011 she launched Noms by Nikki and hasn't looked back. 
    You can find Nikki in her Reston, VA kitchen baking up a storm, running off to a play date with little Molly in tow or blogging for Pure Matters.  She also loves playing soccer, cheering on the Redskins, anything crafty (check out her Pinterest page) and has her own personal blog, SuperNoVa Mom.
